Cinque Terre, Italy

After we went to church in Nice we hopped on a train to Corniglia, one of the five seaside towns that make up the region of Cinque Terre. After a crazy adventure including two train delays, almost missing a train and a funny Italian conductor we finally made it! We stayed in the cutest little apartment that had a rooftop patio. I thought I had died and gone to heaven the views were so beautiful!

The apartment also included Lucy, our little Italian cat friend. :)

Basil was growing everywhere!

The cutest shop!

The only way to travel to the five villages of Cinque terre is by train, boat or hiking. We decided to start the day of by hiking to the next village, Manarola. We started our day nice and early when the sun was just coming up.

The trail took us up into the mountains through the vineyards.

Corniglia.

Flowers were everywhere!

The view of our final destination, Manarola.

My future house. ;)

We made it to Manarola!

After eating some Crepes for breakfast and wandering the town we hopped on a boat to the next village, Monterosso al Mare.

Nice, France - Part Two

Our last full day in Nice was one of my favorite days of the whole trip. We started our morning off walking through the Farmers Market. The first things we saw were booths brimming with fresh flowers. It was so pretty, and the smell was amazing!

We looked at the spices and fresh veggies.

We bought a pretty little painting of the market from this French artist.

After the market we decided to take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea, so refreshing!

That night we all went out to dinner together at a restaurant on the beach. While we were there I decided to order some Salmon, well they brought it out to me and it was RAW! Ughhh. We still had a great last night wandering through the city.

We loved our time in Nice!
