Rome

We started our day off nice and early by taking a train from Cinque Terre to Rome. The plan was to go see the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. Well, being the clueless tourists that we were, we accidentally ended up on the other side of the city at St. Paul's Basilica...oops!

When we finally made it to Vatican City, we went to go see the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel.

The ceilings were amazing! 

My favorite hall was full of beautifully painted maps of Italy. At the end of the museum we were able to go into the Sistine Chapel. The Sistine Chapel was so beautiful!

 After the Sistine chapel we hopped onto the metro to try and find our hotel, which happened to be right by the Colosseum!

That night we decided to go and find Trevi Fountain. Everything looked amazing at night!

We then went to get some pizza and gelato. Yum!
